WALL-MOUNT - Wall-mounted models have become increasingly popular, even
though they are the most difficult to install of all lavatory faucets. Moving
the faucet off the counter reduces clutter, simplifies cleanup, and addresses
the height required by above-counter basins.
SINGLE-HOLE - Installation of the sleek single-hole faucet is relatively
easy, as is maintenance. With just one part piercing the countertop or sink,
there are fewer details to collect soap and soil.
WIDESPREAD - The separate valves on a widespread faucet can be placed 8
to 16 inches apart, requiring a three-hole installation. Most high-end faucets are
widespread.
CENTER-SET - The least expensive lavatory faucets fall into this category — the
valves and spout are joined in a single unit. A two-hole center-set unit like
this is the simplest faucet to install.
MINI-WIDESPREAD - Bridging the gap between center-set and cleaner-looking
widespread configurations, mini-widespread faucets are separate visually, and
the valves are just 4 inches apart.
